About the role

  • Drive the strategic direction and execution of our 0 to 1 efforts in agentic AI for Epicor’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
  • Lead forward-deployed engineering teams with customers to solve customer 10x problems, the Agent Foundry, and updates to our core ERPs to support scaling AI.
  • Shape our long-term product roadmap for LLMs, RAG, and AI UX.
  • Ensure that our offerings delight our customers in hard-to-replicate, margin enhancing ways, while anticipating future trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Demonstrate mastery of customer empathy, working backwards from customer pain points to validate the customer problems, ideal customer profiles, and value propositions.
  • Quickly generate prototypes to get early feedback from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Lead the orchestration of strategic direction and set priorities for our AI applications and functionalities.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product portfolio—from ideation through development, launch, and iterative improvements.
  • Balance new feature development with enhancements based on customer feedback and emerging market trends.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in product management with a demonstrated track record of success in launching and scaling technology products, preferably in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
  • 4+ years of specialized experience within the AI domain, demonstrating deep technical and market understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, Master’s in AI/ML) are a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in coding languages (e.g., Python, C#) to engage more deeply with technical teams and validate approaches.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline concepts to better understand underlying data flows.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, and evals.
