About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a company-wide data quality strategy aligned with business growth and compliance goals
- Lead three specialized teams—Data Governance, Audit & Data Stewards, and Data Operations—totaling 10–20 professionals
- Architect and scale automated governance controls, audit dashboards, and correction processes across enterprise systems
- Present data quality metrics and insights to executive leadership and board-level committees
- Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, finance, and external partners
- Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to maintain 99.5%+ data accuracy
- Foster a culture of data excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement across all teams
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in data management, including 7+ years in leadership roles
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise data governance and quality management
- Experience managing large-scale data initiatives in $1B+ software organizations
- Expertise in data lake architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data technologies
- Proficiency with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataRobot) and governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
- Experience with Salesforce, marketing, and finance data domains.
