About the role

  • Director responsible for financial planning & analysis in a healthcare setting. Overseeing complex financial analysis projects and strategic financial assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the oversight and preparation, coordination, and documentation of complex financial analysis projects.
  • Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
  • Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior leadership.
  • May conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analysis.
  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Creates program/service line proforma’s/models to assess their existing sustainability and impact of program changes.
  • Provides financial analysis and assessment of new/potential programs and expansion of existing program business opportunities.
  • Assists with possible business acquisition/merger due diligence financial reviews as directed by the President/CEO and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Supports budget planning and development activities around new/modified business opportunities working with key program and finance leaders.
  • Attends budget/finance and other program business performance meetings providing strategic input.
  • Reviews and analyzes financial statements and reports.
  • Analyzes financial data and provides forecasting support to senior leadership and leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or better in Accounting.
  • Bachelors or better in Business Administration.
  • Bachelors or better in Business Economics.
  • Bachelors or better in Finance.
