About the role

  • Own key lifecycle slices: Build and improve journeys for moments that matter (onboarding, document prep, filing, post-filing, off-season education); make them measurable, accessible, and localized.
  • Operationalize AI, safely: Use LLM co-pilots for content drafts and assist RL/agentic systems for who/when/what decisions; apply brand, privacy, and consent rules so automation scales responsibly.
  • Partner with Product: Treat in-app nudges and transactional UX comms as lifecycle touchpoints; help drive activation and retention alongside PMs.
  • Make measurement trustworthy: Move beyond opens/clicks to experiment lift, LTV signals, and seasonality-aware holdouts; share clear narratives peers can act on.
  • Strengthen foundations: Keep a single journey backlog for your areas; improve templates, localization quality, deliverability, and fatigue management.
  • Raise the bar on execution: Ship on time, document decisions, and surface trade-offs early so teams can move forward together.
  • A mix of “hands-on builder topics” and “strategy insight contributions.” If you want only “strategy work” this role is not for you.
  • Build and iterate Braze canvases across email, push, and in-product messages; maintain a unified backlog for your journeys.
  • Create, localize, and QA content; keep multilingual messaging clear and accessible; steward tone and brand consistency.
  • Run continuous experiments with standards (market/season holdouts; tests across activation, retention, monetization, reactivation).
  • Monitor deliverability, frequency, and fatigue; maintain suppression and preference logic in line with consent policies.
  • Partner with Martech on data hygiene: event names/props, identity resolution basics, and real-time audiences; raise gaps early.
  • Use AI tools responsibly: prompt for first drafts, enforce guardrails, sanity-check outputs, and document what goes live.
  • Treat transactional and in-product communications as part of lifecycle; align triggers and timing with product flows.
  • Analyze performance in dashboards and spreadsheets; turn findings into concise recommendations and follow-up tests.
  • Keep playbooks, runbooks, and incident checklists current (consent usage, sensitive-attribute handling, vendor/LLM failure modes).
  • Contribute to roadmaps and simple forecasts for your areas; make effort/impact trade-offs transparent when proposing work.

Requirements

  • A growth mindset that wants to learn a lot about a wide variety of marketing & technical topics; you do not need to be asked to learn, you do it by yourself because you like to.
  • You actively want to build a job around AI tooling but also want to grow your own knowledge and critical thinking abilities.
  • You want to make a difference, have impact, finish things, and drive business & customer outcomes.
  • 2–4 years in CRM/lifecycle for B2C apps or consumer fintech; multi-country exposure is a plus.
  • Depth with Braze journeys/campaigns and experimentation or a system like Braze; comfort working from an event schema.
  • Hands-on with HTML/CSS for dynamic email templates; familiarity with liquid/templating preferred.
  • Analytical fluency: Looker, Google data studio, Tableau or similar, strong spreadsheet skills; SQL basics a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI in workflow such as LLM-assisted content; good judgment on when humans must be in the loop.
  • Strong collaborator who surfaces trade-offs early and writes clearly; inclusive communication in English; German (or another EU language) a plus.

Benefits

  • A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
  • Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions and yoga.
  • A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
  • Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
  • 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
  • A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
  • Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
  • Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
  • Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
  • Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
