Responsibilities
Consult with customers about their financial situation
Collect and analyze information about the customer's financial situation
Analyze financial information for initial assessment regarding qualification for lending solutions
Make recommendations to customers about lending solutions
Advise customers about consequences, risks, and benefits of lending solutions
Promote Citi's brand and financial services to real estate agencies and customers
Visit customers outside of Citi's offices
Work as a team with internal partners to support and grow customers
Manage loan application transfer with Operations teams
Ensure timely closing of customer's loan
Drive mortgage business into the bank through referrals
Introduce clients to segment partners when appropriate
Attend diverse Realtor and/or nonprofit events monthly
Requirements
2-5 years relevant experience
Residential Mortgage experience required
3+ years previous mortgage sales experience required
Established relationships with diverse realtor organizations and affordable lending nonprofits
Experience with community loan products inclusive of specialized LMI mortgage solutions
Established book of business
FHA/VA & conventional loan experience is preferred
Ability to comprehend and explain financial calculations
Knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern consumer lending
Demonstrated customer service skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong relationship development and management skills
