About the role

  • Community Microlender providing character-based loans to entrepreneurs and consumers. Supporting access to capital and economic growth in local communities through microloans.

Responsibilities

  • Originate, underwrite, and close microloans in a group setting
  • Build relationships with clients, community partners, and referral networks
  • Coordinate loan servicing, payments, and collections
  • Track outcomes, document program impact, and support reporting requirements
  • Promote additional lending products and provide technical assistance to clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a nonprofit or lending environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and cloud-based systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Independent, ethical, and committed to community impact
  • Microfinance experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
