Provide administrative support for Community Engagement staff, volunteers, and initiatives
Partner to provide volunteer support during onboarding, training or role deactivation, granting access to email or other systems and resources, ordering supplies
Implement best practices for your work within the department based on common requests
Maintain a critical understanding of department workflows and efficiencies
Coordinate and assist with departmental trainings and meetings
Direct communication with volunteers, donors and community members via phone, text and email related to but not limited to recruitment messages, gratitude calls, team captain and fundraising campaigns
Perform back-up Community Relationship Manager duties as required
Assist in coordinating shipments and deliveries as required
Utilize Raiser’s Edge and/or Salesforce database to track constituent relationships and actions, create and maintain volunteer, affiliate and event records and regularly clean-up data
Schedule, attend & participate in various team and department meetings
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year accredited university in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and practical experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred years of experience is 1+ years in non-profit or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of interpersonal skills
Provide excellent customer service
Ability to anticipate the needs of staff and volunteers
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Able to independently judge situations and requests and act accordingly
Able to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities while still meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Luminate, Salesforce or other donor database software a plus
