About the role

  • Dynamic communications professional at Rouya Consultancy managing client visibility and media narratives for integrated campaigns. Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver impactful communications in the UAE and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the development and implementation of integrated communications strategies for clients and internal projects.
  • Draft, edit, and localise written materials including key messages, speeches, talking points, and press releases in English and/or Arabic.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor positioning to inform campaign strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-level presentations, reports, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with project leads and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and narrative alignment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets across the UAE and wider region.
  • Develop press kits and coordinate media outreach, interviews, and coverage opportunities.
  • Write and distribute media materials, including press releases, media alerts, and feature stories.
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage to identify opportunities and insights.
  • Provide on-site media support at client events, openings, and activations.
  • Contribute to content calendars, newsletters, and social media strategy.
  • Develop client reports (weekly, monthly, and post-campaign) tracking deliverables, reach, and impact.
  • Maintain communications databases and press lists, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Participate in client meetings, briefings, and workshops; document and follow up on action points.
  • Prepare correspondence, documentation, and client deliverables in coordination with relevant departments.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic fluency a strong advantage).
  • Demonstrated understanding of UAE media landscape and cultural context.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and media monitoring/reporting tools.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
  • Experience working with government or cultural sector clients.
  • Familiarity with media outreach campaigns, influencer engagement, and brand positioning.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
