About the role

  • Position the HPE Storage product, data services and solution portfolio for selected commercial accounts in Southern Germany
  • Expand existing and develop new long-term customer and channel partner relationships
  • Focus on business outcomes leveraging GreenLake Offerings, Private Cloud and AI portfolio
  • Identify and engage customers seeking scalable and secure private cloud solutions using HPE Private Cloud Business Edition (PCBE)
  • Drive adoption of HPE VM Essentials to optimize workloads and simplify virtualization
  • Promote Zerto’s portfolio for data protection and disaster recovery to ensure business continuity
  • Develop deep understanding of customers' business drivers and implement requirements via consulting at all levels
  • Lead projects across the entire lifecycle: initial contact, PoCs, tender responses, negotiations and contract conclusion
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Sales, Sales Support, Presales, GreenLake team, Zerto Sales, Hybrid Solutions Group and Storage Category
  • Work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office as part of a hybrid working model

Requirements

  • Academic degree in business administration or similar
  • +5 years of sales experience with complex IT solutions
  • Profound knowledge of the storage and data services market
  • Ability to take the sales responsibility for storage, data services, PCBE, VME opportunities
  • Sales excellence in building a sales pipeline, forecasting and customer management
  • Eagerness to develop deep product and solution knowledge and differentiation from competition
  • Distinctive customer orientation and consulting skills combined with assertiveness and sales attitude
  • Team- and goal-oriented work; creativity, initiative and reliability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills
  • Business fluency in German and English
  • Ability to lead projects through full lifecycle including PoCs, tenders, negotiations and contract management
  • Experience working with channel partners and cross-functional teams (Presales, GreenLake, Zerto, Hybrid Solutions)
