About the role

  • Lead a Mid-Market sales team (3–4 AEs/AMs) and set the standard for Mid-Market sales
  • Coach and develop Account Executives and Account Managers; review pipeline and support growth
  • Run weekly team meetings and call review sessions to review performance and reinforce playbooks
  • Run product demos, close deals and contribute to individual sales targets
  • Provide real-time deal support: join customer calls, assist with negotiation and deal execution
  • Partner with directors and the GM to align on strategy, report progress and contribute to Oceania sales performance
  • Support hiring, onboarding and ramping of new Mid-Market sales hires when needed
  • Drive consistent execution of playbooks, operating principles, frameworks and values across the team

Requirements

  • Lead and manage a team of 3–4 Account Executives and Account Managers in Mid-Market
  • Player-coach: combine leadership with individual sales contribution
  • Run demos, close deals and provide real-time deal support including joining customer calls and negotiating
  • Coach reps, review pipeline, run weekly team meetings and call review sessions
  • Partner with directors and the GM to align strategy and report on progress across Oceania
  • Support hiring, onboarding and ramping of new Mid-Market sales team members
  • Actively participate in AE & AM calls and be present in the sales process (not a hands-off manager)
  • Ability to adapt, tailor approaches per customer, work under pressure and maintain team motivation and accountability
  • Based in Sydney and willing to attend the Sydney office at least 2 days per week
  • Right to work in Australia / provide visa details if not (application form asks about work rights)
