About the role

  • Provide a broad range of analysis and/or project support in the development of business programs, including processes and procedures development and monitoring
  • Contribute to the business mandate through research and analysis, content curation, and design recommendations for a specialized business and/or function
  • Independently perform activities from end to end and manage ambiguity
  • Interpret and administer policies, adopt and implement business process improvements
  • Make process and capacity management decisions guided by practices, procedures and operating plans
  • Conduct regular, ongoing analysis, evaluation/assessment and review of business programs and initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing industry and competitive analysis to obtain market insights
  • Provide input to managers and business leaders through conducting analytics and driving insights to support the planning process
  • Develop and maintain program documentation and communication materials
  • Support analyzing policy and governance impacts on customers, stakeholders and processes
  • Liaise with partners and stakeholders to resolve business program issues
  • Support and monitor adherence to service level agreements with external vendors and work with vendors to meet program objectives
  • Conduct internal and external research projects; support development/delivery of presentations/communications to management or broader audience
  • Conduct reporting and/or meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess effectiveness of programs/policies/practices
  • Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels and implement continuous process/performance improvements
  • May lead work streams by acting as a project lead/subject matter expert for small scale projects/initiatives

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 3+ years relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge of multiple business programs disciplines, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of project/program support, planning and implementation
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
