About the role

  • Develop and execute personalized outreach to drive meaningful connections within the NDT industry.
  • Qualify customers and prospect targeted leads to maintain pipelines of NDT resources.
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including the number of outreaches activities, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective to secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
  • Maintain a detailed call report of prospects and existing customers for review on a daily or weekly basis with the Vice President of Canada.
  • Answer phones, assist customers by completing order entry, order processing, and additional administrative work.
  • Handling and resolving customer inquiries regarding a product or service.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and technical capabilities.
  • Utilize your portfolio of contacts to identify prospective customers and lead generation.
  • Outreach to new and existing customers, scheduling meetings to discuss needs.
  • Emphasize features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare rentals and sales agreements for NDT equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Responsible for Rentals and Sales performance and addressing issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • High School or Provincial Equivalency
  • Experience with non-destructive testing equipment (NDT) and a technical background
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Analytical ability and good problem-solving skills
  • Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
  • High-level organizational skills for maintaining a successful regional sales territory
  • Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts
  • Strategic planning, superior organizational, and time management skills
  • Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment.
  • Regional travel is a requirement of the position.
