About the role

  • Market Development Manager for Placetel AI developing strategies and driving sales in the Netherlands. Collaborating across teams to build and scale international presence in cloud communication solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of market development and drive early customer traction
  • Act as the central link between the Dutch market and our internal teams
  • Actively shape the go-to-market strategy and positioning while ensuring early customer success
  • Develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy for Placetel AI in the Netherlands
  • Identify relevant target industries, segments and AI voice use cases
  • Build and maintain relationships with early adopter customers and key stakeholders
  • Support customer acquisition in close collaboration with Sales and Presales teams
  • Accompany customers through onboarding, implementation and early adoption phases
  • Ensure customer success during the critical early lifecycle of AI deployments
  • Collect and structure customer and market feedback to improve product-market fit
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging and roadmap discussions
  • Develop local best practices, success stories and reference use cases
  • Support scalable go-to-market processes for the Dutch market
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Sales teams across countries

Requirements

  • Experience in market development, business development, customer success or consulting
  • Background in SaaS, AI or technology-driven environments is strongly preferred
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a must
  • German skills are a plus, not a requirement
  • Strong interest in AI, automation and cloud communication technologies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in an early-stage setup
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented thinking
  • Cultural sensitivity and solid understanding of the Dutch market
