About the role
- Business Analyst supporting the Manufacturer Rebates applications and transformation initiatives at CVS Health. Collaborating across departments to drive innovation in PBM finance and contracting functions.
Responsibilities
- Advisor to business and information technology teams on how to effectively navigate technology systems, table structures, business processes, data flows, and more
- Gathers and defines requirements for invoicing, payments, underwriting, and FP&A reporting
- Collaborates with finance and analytics teams to ensure our manufacturer rebate systems meets evolving business needs
- Acts as the primary liaison for Manufacturer-related BA activities
- Advisor to matrixed business partners, helping them translate their business vision into requirements, technical specifications, and define project approach
- Solve complex, large-scale customer challenges to produce solutions
- Perform as a strategic communications advisor with a focus on business transformation
- Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business and technology stakeholders; providing a delivery framework that ensures quality and success
- Effectively collaborate with technical resources across agile teams on all critical program efforts; ensuring teams are fully aligned on project scope, user stories, testing, and acceptance criteria
- Participate in team code reviews, coordinate and if appropriate execute user acceptance testing
- Maintain excellent documentation of all work
- Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team, propose and implement solutions
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting technical Business Operations and / or Production Support activities
- Minimum 5 years of technical writing including inter-connected system diagrams and complex process flows
- Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services (preferred)
- Experience with highly complex, inter-connected systems and business processes (preferred)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (recommended)
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics in a matrixed environment
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience
