Create and submit opening memo checklists for authorisation and Closing and Endorsement Workflow submissions to PRO.
Assist with IBA and Credit Control queries.
Carry out projects and other duties as required.
Apply scientific knowledge to support brokers handling complex life sciences risks, interpret regulatory/compliance documentation, and liaise with clients, underwriters, and internal teams.
Requirements
Background in life sciences or related scientific fields such as biology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical technology.
Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the relevant aspects of the Law of Agency and the Law of Contract.
Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the general concepts of insurance.
Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory requirements as they affect the business of the Property Section.
Awareness of legal and jurisdictional requirements in territorial limits worked on and maintenance of up to date knowledge of current market practices.
Knowledge of Price Forbes practices, procedures and service standards.
Knowledge and/or awareness of Price Forbes IT systems and processes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to use the Price Forbes IT systems.
