Provide technical instruction, based on the Service Training curriculum for technicians
Participate in and plan a continuous three month rolling Service Training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) and closing the rosters after every class
Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curricula, specific courses and technical education methods
Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plan for dealership staff
Managing the Learning Center for the day-to-day operations and maintaining assets such as, but not limited to, vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures
Requirements
College Diploma and/or equivalent work experience
Provincial Technicians License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant
3+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM Dealership
3+ years' experience in training or teaching
Oral / written fluency in French and English
Logical thought process
Willingness to adapt
Highly competent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and well organized - a continuous student of automotive technology
Personal Computer skills in the major office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, etc.
Team Player - ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams
Customer focus and process orientation
Attention to detail and results driven
Flexibility for up to 25% travel in Canada
Must have a valid passport
