About the role
- Senior Associate providing technical advice in SR&ED tax practice at PwC Canada. Assisting clients with preparation of tax incentive claims and engaging in business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in the preparation of their tax incentive claims
- Participate in the completion of SR&ED claims (Canada) and R&D tax credit claims (US)
- Provide practical solutions to optimize clients' returns from SR&ED and other government incentives
- Attend meetings and support clients during SR&ED reviews
- Assist in managing a portfolio of clients
- Engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in computer science, IT, or technical management
- A degree or education in a STEM field or related discipline
- Keen interest in learning new technologies
- Broad knowledge of current development technologies including web development, XML, Java, JavaScript, C#, database technologies, open source, mobile apps, and other related technologies
- Prior experience with the SR&ED tax credit program
- Strong client-service orientation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English and French.
