About the role
- Banking Operations Analyst assisting banking and treasury operations at Broadridge. Ensuring client payments and account reconciliations are accurate and timely in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Banking team to ensure proper handling for all banking and treasury related operations of the department.
- Coordinate payments (ACH/WIRE/CHECK) to our clients
- Review payments (ACH/WIRE/CHECK) prior to disbursement
- Coordinate OFAC reviews prior to payment distribution
- Track all payment requests received from the Client Service team
- Monitor all banking activities to detect and timely resolve any irregularities
- Daily account reconciliation to ensure bank account balance and our internal records match
- Daily review and decisioning of positive pay items
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all cash deposits to the bank
- Prepare reconciliation reports for individual remediation client accounts as needed (weekly, monthly)
- Work with team on escheatment of aged funds
- Develop an understanding of Broadridge and the scope of the company
- Develop an understanding of the Class Actions business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 3+ years related experience and/or training.
- Degree in accounting or related field a plus
- Strong analytical skills: ability to gather data, interpret results, reformulate as needed
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Corporate or treasury banking experience a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
