Sales Representative selling personal and commercial lines for Brightway Insurance. Generating leads and hitting sales targets while providing tailored insurance solutions to clients.
About the role
- Responsible for new business development in a highly productive, sales-driven environment
- Work closely with experienced sales professionals to learn the ropes of the industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Establish relationships with potential clients
- Assist in the sales process through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, in-person, and networking opportunities
- Assist in developing and presenting sales proposals tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage accounts and follow up on leads
- Utilize CRM systems to track and manage customer relationships
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge
Requirements
- Must be a hunter!
- College graduate with two-to-five-years B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated track record of success (2 full calendar years, i.e. 105% of sales goal via scorecard or sales dashboard)
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Outgoing, dynamic personality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment
- Can-do attitude that loves to compete and be challenged
- Strong skill set for prospecting and developing a territory
- Must be able to generate 250+ sales activities a week
- CRM experience to include strong data entry and organization of sales data
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
