About the role

  • Unearth cultural truths by mastering social media's pulse and extracting culturally-relevant insights from platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Lead and inspire a talented team, mentoring and setting standards for excellence
  • Transform data into action using tools like Infegy, Sprout, GWI to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
  • Drive research initiatives from small to large, including consumer profiling, competitor benchmarking and AI-driven approaches
  • Define measurement objectives tied to brand goals and deliver compelling analytics to demonstrate impact
  • Collaborate across Creative, Editorial, Strategy, and Influencer teams to translate insights into campaigns and work

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in social media, strategy market research or data & analytics
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using social media analytics tools
  • Expertise with native social media analytics and social listening platforms (e.g., Infegy, Sprout, GWI)
  • Strong understanding of Excel and experience with insight platforms (MUST)
  • Experience with Looker Studio is a bonus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor team members
  • A pulse on social media cultural and platform trends and ability to translate into business recommendations
  • Ability to answer the why
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take ideas from concept to execution
  • Not a data science role; Python or SQL experience not required
