About the role

  • Support with closing activities and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB & IFRS
  • Daily processing of business transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and fixed assets
  • Monitoring open-item (OPOS) lists and managing the dunning/collections process
  • Handling special topics: provisions, prepaid expenses and accrued/deferred items
  • Monitoring, controlling and adjusting allocation/internal chargebacks within the group, including intercompany reconciliations with other group entities
  • Reporting to internal and external bodies (including VAT)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification in finance
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • User-level experience with SAP FI/CO
  • Curiosity, sense of responsibility and a passion for the variety of topics in accounting
  • Independent, structured and reliable working style
  • Excellent German skills (min. C1) and good English skills
