About the role

Responsibilities
- Record all accounting entries in compliance with the Chart of Accounts and tax regulations
- Record purchases and process supplier payments
- Monitor customer payments, perform reminders and inform the sales team of receivables status via tracking reports
- Prepare annual accounts and produce financial statements
- Prepare analytical reports and provide reporting to management and operational teams
- Monitor banking transactions
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor payment deadlines
- Prepare tax filings: VAT, fees declarations, TVS (company vehicle tax) and other obligations
- Account for and monitor fixed assets
- Perform budget vs. actual reconciliations
- Manage intra-group transactions
- Calculate intercompany interest
- Monitor foreign exchange variances with foreign subsidiaries
- Verify monthly consistency and reliability of accounting records
- Prepare monthly financial positions and analytical reviews
- Provide financial analyses to management to support business decisions
- Prepare closing statements and the year-end balance sheet
- Lead, support and develop a team of 3 people
- Structure procedures and improve tools
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's or Master's)
- Proven experience in general accounting with prior managerial experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and fiscal closings
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and organizational abilities
- Team spirit and leadership
- Professional/business-level English required
- Familiarity with Primus / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central appreciated
