About the role
- Senior Buchhalter overseeing financial processes and managing accounting tasks in a hotel group with remote opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and ongoing posting of business transactions
- Ensuring proper ledger accounting including profit and loss (P&L)
- Preparation of closing documentation for external audits
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and clearing accounts
- Participation in special projects and the further development and optimization of existing accounting processes
- Point of contact for internal departments and external partners on accounting and financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Completed relevant professional qualification
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting under the UGB (Austrian Commercial Code) and Austrian tax law
- Very good IT skills (MS Office, Excel), ideally with experience in BMD NTCS
- Strong numerical aptitude, assertiveness and a structured way of working
- (Initial) leadership experience is welcome but not required.
