About the role

  • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents to drive sales opportunities within assigned territory(ies).
  • Cultivate relationships with financial advisors through high-quality interactions including proactive and reactive calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a high level of client service by answering inbound inquiries and working with the team to resolve specific account issues.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and articulate effectively, offer insight and product information to financial professionals so they can successfully offer GBI solutions to their customers.
  • Take a consultative approach to working with financial advisors by understanding their business, clients and investment challenges to better match GBI solutions to their needs.
  • Work with Regional Vice Presidents to establish and execute territory plan(s) and utilize data to optimize engagement with financial advisors.
  • Utilize the CRM system to log all client/prospect related activity on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Dynamic, high-energy sales professional with at least 2-4 years of successful sales experience.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and advance within the company.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • A BA/BS in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with financial software, and CRM systems required. HubSpot preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
