About the role

  • Responsible for sales of Branson Business Unit within Discrete Automation Group Business covering Gujarat region, Mumbai city, West Bengal/Odisha & eastern states
  • Drive sales initiatives to meet sales targets and submit POR (monthly forecasting)
  • Identify new business opportunities, new applications, new clients/accounts (OEM, Tier-1/2 suppliers, end customers)
  • Analyze and identify market competition and develop short/long term strategies
  • Persuade customers on product/service suitability in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Negotiate tender/contract terms and conditions to meet client and company needs
  • Manage and strengthen customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed assigned territorial goals and expand customer base
  • Update sales calls, applications, orders, customer organizations and business conditions regularly
  • CRM updation with newer, stale, close opportunities and quotes from CPQ tool
  • Ensure timely payment collection and update finance and factory teams; contribute to shipment goals
  • Collaborate with application, manufacturing, logistics, and service teams for project closure (cross-functional collaboration)
  • Take up stretch assignments to contribute to India strategies and goals
  • Cover products: plastic joining (vibration, ultrasonic), precision cleaning, metal welding, clean vibration technology, emerging technologies like laser welding, IR, pulse staking
  • Conduct installations, trials, presentations, and trainings; build networks in medical, textile, packaging, tire cutting, cement, FMCG, toys, electronics, appliances, automobile and EV industries

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-12 years of related sales working experience in the field
  • Candidate who has experience in Plastic Industry, Electronics Industry or Industrial automation will be an advantage
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Never give up attitude
  • Sales driven and able to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Willing to travel extensively (80%)
  • Hands-on installation and trial experience preferred
  • Experience in making/delivering presentations and conducting training
  • Experience with CRM and CPQ tools (CRM updation, quotes from CPQ)
