You will report to the Corpsec Manager or Co-Heads of Corpsec.
You may be tasked to manage Junior Corpsec Executives and provide guidance and mentorship to them as part of your responsibilities as a Senior Corpsec executive.
You will manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the quality of service deliveries of your work, timeliness, accurate billings, client relationship management, and achieving client satisfaction and retention.
You will be comfortable and available for clients to speak with you in order to properly execute your duties.
You will also be willing to be appointed as named secretary for clients in your portfolio.
You must be able to plan your work effectively and efficiently, and provide deliverables in accordance with the scope of services and timelines.
From the start of your engagement, you must be able to demonstrate expertise in Singapore regulatory framework and policies including but not limited to the Companies Act 1967, AML/CFT policies, and in relation to financial reporting matters as regulated by ACRA. You must also have sufficient knowledge on the regulatory requirements of various company set-ups in Singapore, mainly that of private limited companies.
You are required to gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilise that knowledge on engagement.
You will be available to provide effective guidance to your junior team members for any complex client requests in order for the team to resolve the issues in the best possible and appropriate manner.
You will work closely with relevant stakeholders to achieve desired strategic outcomes including but not limited to highly knowledgeable team members, automation of processes, robust workflows, customer excellence, filing accuracies, meeting statutory compliance deadlines, and improving profit margins.
At all times, you are to ensure that you and your team are carrying out tasks with efficiency, effectiveness and contributing to continuous improvements of processes and knowledge.
You must adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Requirements
Recognised degree/diploma in Business Administration / Corporate Services / Legal Studies or equivalent.
Professionally certified with CGQP qualification and a member of CSIS is preferred.
Should you be comfortable with being appointed as the named secretary for clients in their portfolio.
Preferably more than 5 years experience in client facing and handling complex corporate secretarial matters including experience being RQI and named company secretary, and attending board of directors meetings.
Proven track record of working in a fast paced and technology driven organisation.
Good understanding of Singapore regulatory compliance.
Hands-on experience with Google workspace and Microsoft applications.
Resourceful and experience with various productivity software applicable to facilitate daily work
Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive, highly-organised and detail-oriented.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to adapt to VUCA way of thinking and contribute to process improvement efforts.
Able to meet tight deadlines.
Immediate availability is preferred.
