Lead and manage areas of business operations within the school including development and implementation of plans, policies, and strategies
Create and track key performance metrics and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support initiatives that drive operational and financial performance and growth
Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities
Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources as needed that meet state standards
Articulate the school’s mission and vision and ensure stakeholder alignment
Utilize communication technologies and practices to support a predominantly virtual / remote work environment
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding special education and categorical programs (such as Title I, LAP, CTE)
Interface with students, families, local Municipal Court systems, and local districts regarding attendance and engagement compliance
Develop and oversee implementation of the school’s Student Achievement Improvement Plan
Supervise and evaluate teaching staff; manage teacher performance and provide necessary training to support professional development
Manage Master and Lead Teachers and programs
Confer with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems
Coordinate with teacher and K12 Enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals
Directly supervise 15-30 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors and carry out supervisory responsibilities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years related professional experience
Colorado Professional Elementary Administrator Certification (Required)
Must Reside in Colorado
Previous Supervisory Experience
Master’s degree AND Five (5) years of educational experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to clear required background check
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
Web proficiency
Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
