About the role

  • Area Sales Manager engaging in B2B direct acquisition for a Smart City company. Targeting partners in housing associations, gas stations, and supermarkets in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

  • Your main responsibility is contacting new B2B partners through direct field sales.
  • Your customer portfolio covers three sectors: grocery retail (supermarkets), gas stations, and housing associations.
  • You will be in the field in your region approximately 3–4 days per week.
  • You are responsible for your customers from initial contact through contract signing.
  • You will develop tailored solutions for your regional partners, taking local conditions into account.
  • You will also represent your employer at regional industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • You will build and maintain a network of relevant contacts in your region.

Requirements

  • Excellent German language skills; English is a plus.
  • Residence in Frankfurt.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales or B2B direct acquisition is required for this role.
  • Experience selling services is an advantage.
  • Solid experience in contract negotiation.
