Directly sell the Medtronic Hugo™ RAS System, end effectors and service across assigned territory
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive adoption and sales growth of Hugo™ RAS System
Engage budget-holders and hospital executives; develop business cases, TCO comparisons, cost-per-procedure analyses, and contracting
Create and deliver workshops, system presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to key decision-makers
Collaborate with internal Medtronic teams (Minimally Invasive Surgery specialists, technical support, R&D, Operations, Marketing) to develop opportunities and ensure support
Identify and prioritize new market opportunities through market analysis and execution plans
Support hospitals in integrating Hugo™ Surgical Robotic System into clinical and operational strategies
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals and hospital leadership
Regularly analyze market data, assess competition, and provide detailed sales forecasts
Close significant contracts, track and report sales performance, and refine sales tactics
Maintain deep technical knowledge of the Hugo™ RAS System; provide demonstrations, training, and customer inquiries support
Spend significant time in the field with frequent travel; occasionally work from home or company offices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in a medical and/or operating room environment
Minimum of 3 years of dedicated capital complex selling
Must be able to travel region assigned (50% plus)
A valid driver's license is essential
Must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
Strong negotiation skills
Modern computer literacy
Experience working in a matrix structure
Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly; passion for critical thinking and continuous learning
Strong commitment to success through ethical practices, adhering to company policies
For patient-facing field employees: comply with credentialing requirements at hospitals/clinics
Nice to have: Expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery and active surgeon network
