About the role
- Area Manager overseeing offshore Reinsurance operations with a focus on process enhancements. Collaborating with Onshore teams to ensure compliance and effective management of contract auditing.
Responsibilities
- Very sound know-how on Reinsurance contracts, Bordeaux processing (Prem/Claims), Technical accounting
- Work with Onshore team and client to implement process improvements, including system testing
- Manage day to day offshore Reinsurance Operations support tasks (Sanction, submission clearance, Policy Processing, Bordeaux management Claims and Technical accounting)
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve operational issues
- Auditing management – work with Onshore lead & Underwriters /Claims adjusters to ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and compliance policies.
- Support the Onshore lead in handling all Reinsurance administration work
- Maintain the inventory, Profiles and produce any relevant underwriting documentation when requested
