About the role

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain, with deep knowledge of local auto parts suppliers in Brazil.
  • Manage stock levels, resolve issues with troubled suppliers, and oversee supply chain procedures.
  • Support integration across logistics, forecasting, and inventory functions.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve customer service, increase First Order Fill rate, and reduce backorders.
  • Directly lead a senior team of 6 members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment aligned with GM's values and cultural behaviors.
  • Demonstrate resilience and decision-making in high-pressure and ambiguous environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Advanced English and intermediate Spanish proficiency.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing people.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate ambiguity.
  • Desirable knowledge in manufacturing processes.
