About the role

  • Accountable for meeting and exceeding individual sales quota and driving revenue growth within assigned portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategies to uncover and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on expanding service offerings
  • Understand financial implications (gross margin, job profit, operating profit, forecasting, pipeline management) and negotiate pricing with clients/decision makers
  • Apply a strong hunting approach to drive business development initiatives, including upselling and cross-selling Kantar’s products and services
  • Work with various research design teams to craft and present compelling proposals and play a lead client-facing role from outreach through final proposal presentation
  • Build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders; conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and strategy sessions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape; share relevant insights with internal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, research analysts, and the Growth team to ensure successful delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and growth progress; prepare and present regular reports on account performance to senior management

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in market research, analytics, insights, and media solutions
  • Experience selling to marketing decision makers
  • Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Brand Research experience a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Shown success generating revenue with various business scales from Fortune 500 to smaller B2B/B2C brands
  • Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated concepts into concise, insightful messaging
  • "Hunter"/Sales mentality with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent commercial competence, presentation and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, driver of change and transformation
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Base knowledge of brand research tech space and ability to learn offerings in Brand Tracking, creative testing, innovation, and quantitative/qualitative analysis
  • Awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Familiarity with sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo)
  • CRM Systems proficiency
