About the role
- IT Solution Architect responsible for implementing a new SaaS platform for Zurich Insurance. Collaborating with teams to ensure the platform meets technical and functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible, within the DILI program, for ensuring that our new SaaS platform based on msg.Insurance Suite meets business requirements and that integration and customization are implemented economically and with the required quality.
- You identify and analyze functional and non-functional requirements and develop IT solution concepts together with our implementation partner and platform provider.
- You ensure the solution remains close to the standard and is sustainable, and you formally accept the solution.
- You work closely with Domain Architecture on strategy and architecture development and implement guidelines from the group-wide and local enterprise architecture in the Individual Life domain.
- You are responsible for technical architecture topics and advise implementation teams on architecture, security standards, and solution concepts.
- You conduct architecture and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in designing IT solutions and integrating them into complex IT landscapes.
- Very good understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and API design.
- Knowledge of Java, Tomcat, Microsoft Azure, container technologies, as well as identity and access management.
- Experience in architecture and design using msg.Insurance Suite in a life-specific context.
- Experience in the insurance industry, especially in individual life business, is a plus.
- Strong initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and delivery-oriented approach, with a high willingness to take responsibility and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
