About the role
- Manage business process excellence initiatives at ZEISS, ensuring alignment with functional needs and project success. Collaborate with teams to drive improvements in production processes and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS, balancing individual functional and segment needs by contributing to the Idea to Market process workstream
- Together with the Senior Manager of your stream, take on a moderating role, understanding and mastering the individual processes
- Moderate between the ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner
- Steer and orchestrate necessary external consulting support within your workstream
- Exchange information with fellow workstream teams to ensure best practice sharing and integration into related processes
- Report results to the overall program management
- Own the alignment of your workstream progress with the senior manager of your stream
- Ensure planning, implementation and improvement measures of your workstream
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or in a similar field of study
- Proven experience driving projects in the area of business process excellence or in a similar performance improvement related environment
- SAP specific experience in managing production related processes, from the production planning to the production execution (SAP PP, MM)
- Experience with SAP ERP transformations is a big plus
- Results-oriented, analytical and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans
- A strong change management perspective
- Strong German and English skills, both written and spoken.
