About the role

  • Bauprozessmanager supporting project teams in construction planning, process planning, and logistics in Hamburg. Requires a degree in civil or industrial engineering with team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • You work in project teams during the tender and execution phases.
  • You support our construction teams in project preparation, process planning and construction logistics (workshops and project work).
  • You are responsible for determining quantities and performance indicators for schedule planning and site setup, and for producing site layout plans as well as logistics and equipment deployment concepts.
  • When implementing construction processes, you apply the principles of LEAN Construction.
  • You coordinate updates to execution schedules and construction logistics in close collaboration with our project teams on site.
  • You prepare target/actual comparisons for schedule controlling.
  • You analyze and improve planning and execution processes using Lean methods.
  • You drive the introduction and use of new technologies related to digitalization.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Initial professional experience in site management or in connection with construction projects is an advantage.
  • General IT affinity and interest in new technologies related to digitalization (BIM 5D).
  • Willingness to learn new software programs and to further develop existing working methods, particularly in the preparation of schedules (MS Project, Powerproject).
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good MS Office skills; prior experience with CAD software is desirable.
  • Independent, careful and committed working style, confident appearance, spatial imagination (3D), as well as structural thinking and quick comprehension.
  • A pronounced service-oriented attitude, strong communication skills and a high degree of teamwork complete your profile.
