About the role

  • Sales Development Representative responsible for proactive lead generation and pipeline development in cybersecurity sector. Collaborating with sales teams and engaging with enterprise clients in DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR / BDR), you will take ownership of proactive lead generation, pipeline development and conducting initial customer presentations with drive and independence.
  • We focus on mid-sized and large enterprises in the DACH region.
  • Build and maintain your own lead pipeline through structured outbound activities (email, phone, LinkedIn, video).
  • Research and target primarily technical decision-makers (e.g. CISOs, IT heads) in enterprise organizations.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using structured discovery techniques (BANT).
  • Independently conduct initial remote product demonstrations for qualified leads.
  • Schedule, prepare and hand over meetings to the responsible sales team for follow-up meetings and for later or more complex deals.
  • Design, build and continuously optimize BD and sales campaigns (e.g. multi-touch outbound sequences, topic-based campaigns, account-based approaches) in close coordination with marketing and sales.
  • Evaluate, select and implement appropriate sales tools (e.g. for prospecting, intent signals, data enrichment, sequencing) to continuously improve efficiency, quality and scalability in business development.
  • Actively shape and continuously develop our BD/SDR processes, playbooks and best practices – from initial idea through testing to implementation.
  • Maintain all activities and contacts carefully in the CRM (HubSpot) and provide meaningful reporting of your pipeline and KPIs.
  • Represent xorlab at events and webinars, both online and offline.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in outbound sales (BDR/SDR/Inside Sales) in the B2B software, IT or cybersecurity sector.
  • Proven track record in lead generation, appointment setting and ideally delivering initial product presentations to enterprise clients.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, structured working style and enthusiasm for designing, testing and continuously improving BD structures, campaigns and playbooks.
  • Experience using — and ideally evaluating/implementing — modern sales tools (e.g. CRM, sales engagement, sales intelligence, data providers).
  • Strong interest in IT security and a solid technical understanding to competently engage CISOs, IT heads and other primarily technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels — written, verbal, in remote presentations and in-person.
  • Self-organized, structured work approach with high personal responsibility and ownership.
  • German fluent in speaking and writing; English business fluent.
