Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-assisted school management systems—aligned with institutional goals, academic performance objectives, and education governance frameworks.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring school administration and academic workflow requirements are well-defined, actionable, and deliver measurable value to institutions, educators, and students.
Collaborate with school administrators, academic coordinators, teachers, IT teams, finance departments, and parents to capture operational workflows, academic processes, and automation opportunities.
Translate educational and institutional requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for engineering teams.
Oversee the development and enhancement of core school management modules including Student Information System (SIS), Admissions and enrollment management, Attendance tracking and timetable scheduling, Academic assessments and grading systems, Fee management and billing workflows, Parent-teacher communication portals, Staff management and institutional reporting
Continuously evaluate operational KPIs such as admission processing time, attendance accuracy, academic performance tracking, administrative efficiency, and parent engagement—driving automation and data-driven improvements.
Ensure the platform adheres to education authority regulations, accreditation standards, and student data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, FERPA-like frameworks where applicable).
Act as the voice of educators and institutional stakeholders in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring alignment across technology, academic operations, and product leadership.
Monitor platform KPIs (student engagement, academic performance trends, system adoption rates, operational efficiency) and champion innovations such as AI-driven student analytics, predictive academic insights, and automated scheduling.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within the EdTech domain, preferably with school management or student information systems.
Proven experience in digital school platforms, education ERP systems, or academic workflow automation.
Strong understanding of Student lifecycle management (admissions, enrollment, progression, graduation), Academic operations and institutional administration, Education data structures and reporting requirements
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product development practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Ability to translate educator and administrative requirements into clear technical deliverables.
