About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee grant strategy, financial management, cross-departmental research development, and coordination of major domestic and international programs
- Lead coordination of large NIH-funded grants
- Provide oversight of training grants, ensuring compliance and budget management
- Manage the grants pipeline and proposal development processes
- Interface with grants management teams for accurate financial tracking
- Cultivate relationships with funding agencies to expand research portfolio
- Oversee financial management across GOI projects
- Promote and facilitate cross-departmental research collaborations
- Track portfolio metrics and coordinate dissemination activities
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with GOI priorities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Science
- 5 years of Basic And Clinical Research experience
- 5 years of Research Project Management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing NIH-funded grants, including training mechanisms
- Strong understanding of federal grants management and compliance
- Ability to lead complex, multi-institutional programs
- Strong financial oversight and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
