About the role

  • Global Health Research Program Manager overseeing grant strategy and financial management for NIH-funded projects. Leading research development, coordination, and collaboration within the Global Oncology Initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee grant strategy, financial management, cross-departmental research development, and coordination of major domestic and international programs
  • Lead coordination of large NIH-funded grants
  • Provide oversight of training grants, ensuring compliance and budget management
  • Manage the grants pipeline and proposal development processes
  • Interface with grants management teams for accurate financial tracking
  • Cultivate relationships with funding agencies to expand research portfolio
  • Oversee financial management across GOI projects
  • Promote and facilitate cross-departmental research collaborations
  • Track portfolio metrics and coordinate dissemination activities
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with GOI priorities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Science
  • 5 years of Basic And Clinical Research experience
  • 5 years of Research Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing NIH-funded grants, including training mechanisms
  • Strong understanding of federal grants management and compliance
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-institutional programs
  • Strong financial oversight and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
