Responsibilities
Oversee grant strategy, financial management, cross-departmental research development, and coordination of major domestic and international programs
Lead coordination of large NIH-funded grants
Provide oversight of training grants, ensuring compliance and budget management
Manage the grants pipeline and proposal development processes
Interface with grants management teams for accurate financial tracking
Cultivate relationships with funding agencies to expand research portfolio
Oversee financial management across GOI projects
Promote and facilitate cross-departmental research collaborations
Track portfolio metrics and coordinate dissemination activities
Identify and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with GOI priorities
Requirements
Master’s degree in Science
5 years of Basic And Clinical Research experience
5 years of Research Project Management experience
Demonstrated experience managing NIH-funded grants, including training mechanisms
Strong understanding of federal grants management and compliance
Ability to lead complex, multi-institutional programs
Strong financial oversight and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
