About the role
- Wundmanager providing specialized patient care for chronic and hard-to-heal wounds in home settings. Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Professional care of chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Counseling, care and education of patients and their family members
- Close collaboration with other professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient treatment
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Maintaining and expanding the existing client base
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a Registered Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, Geriatric Nurse, or Qualified Nursing Professional
- Professional experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
- Completed further training as a Wound Care Specialist or willingness to undertake such training
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patients' needs
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Class B driving license (car)
