- Wundmanager providing professional care for patients with chronic wounds in a specialized nursing service. Collaborating with other providers and ensuring regulatory compliance during care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Professional care of chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Advising, supporting and educating patients and their family members
- Close collaboration with other professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient care
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Managing and expanding the existing client base
- Compliance with legal requirements and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a registered nurse (adult, pediatric or geriatric) or nursing specialist
- Professional experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
- Completed further training as a wound care specialist or willingness to complete such training
- Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of patients' needs
- A reliable and responsible approach to work
- Valid Class B driving license
