About the role
- (Senior) Manager Audit role in GKK PARTNERS, an expanding audit firm in Munich, handling diverse client audits and ensuring quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for group and annual statutory audits for clients operating nationally and internationally across a wide range of industries and sizes
- Perform special audits and provide technical opinions on accounting and valuation issues
- Undertake complex expert and advisory assignments
- Ensure quality assurance of the team’s deliverables and communicate with clients
- Support advisory projects, e.g. in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and internal audit
Requirements
- Successfully passed the Wirtschaftsprüfer exam or are about to complete it
- Several years of relevant experience in statutory audit
- Strong knowledge of national accounting and auditing standards
- Willingness to engage with new topics, such as sustainability reporting
- Good understanding of the requirements and needs of mid-sized clients
- Strong service orientation
- Team player with enthusiasm for mentoring and developing junior team members
- Ideally, experience with Caseware
- Very good analytical and communication skills in German and English
