About the role

  • Key Account Manager representing Corteva's agricultural solutions for specialty crops and vegetables in Romania. Responsibilities include demand creation, sales forecasting, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Regional representation of Corteva solutions/products for specialty crops and vegetables at designed distributors and growers level in order to achieve the sales targets in the assigned area
  • Creates demand and sales at the grower level through campaign execution
  • Demonstrates portfolio strengths and benefits at field level before and after launch, ensures follow up at grower level
  • Understands customers insights, facilitates and executes Food Value chain activities
  • Collects customer complaints and feedback and facilitates settlement through the technical team
  • Arranges and ensures execution of sampling trials and support results sharing to customers in the designed area
  • Exploit expertise and crop knowledge to support customers, in order to increase penetration and SoW in the market
  • Achieves volume sales targets with assigned growers, within the assigned area
  • Accountable for sales forecasting/planning for the assigned growers
  • Regularly and formally collects and reports market insights, proposes changes or indicate opportunities to capture
  • Cooperating continuously and efficiently with other departments (marketing, logistics, etc.)
  • Representing Corteva and its product/ service portfolio in a professional and competent manner
  • Follow-up of the clients’ satisfaction subsequently to the sales season’s end
  • To ensure compliance with local legislation and competition laws
  • To defend and promote the image of Corteva, its offer and services
  • Build solid and professional relationship based on recognized expertise and trust with growers and influencers across the assigned area.
