About the role

  • Managing Internship and Early Career programs at Woven by Toyota, focusing on talent acquisition and program improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own Intern to Early Career lifecycle end-to-end, taking responsibility for program outcomes, effectiveness, and future vision
  • Serve as the primary lead for the Internship Program, working globally and cross-functionally with hiring managers, and leadership. Design, operate, and continuously improve the Internship Program
  • Design and manage a clear conversion process from internship to full-time employment
  • Manage the Intern Program budget and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success, ROI, and quality of early career talent pipelines
  • Develop and execute a global strategy for building diverse and high-quality candidate pipelines through university partnerships, events, and recruiting platforms
  • Collaborate closely with mentors and managers in host teams to ensure intern success, performance tracking, and a consistent, high-quality experience
  • Design and manage effective onboarding, evaluation, and feedback frameworks for all interns
  • Partner with marketing/communications teams to develop and maintain a compelling employer brand and program narrative for early career talent acquisition
  • Operate the Early Career Rotation Program process including interviewing and management of the selection process, provide ongoing support and resources to early career talents to foster their professional growth as well as designated related programs in the future
  • Partner with L&D and HR Business Partner (HRBP) teams to design and execute initiatives that support the long-term growth and development of internship converts, including an early career rotation program, and advocate for continued investment in this population

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant experience including least 3+ years in managing or leading recruiting programs, internship programs, or early-career development initiatives and 3+ years of people management
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and influence diverse stakeholders, including university partners, students, hiring managers, and senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and end-to-end project management skills with a history of successful program execution and measuring ROI
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, necessary for strategy development, collaboration, and employer branding efforts
  • Full professional proficiency in both Japanese and English to support the global and local aspects of the program
