About the role
- Oversee the maintenance operations of multiple properties
- Perform maintenance functions as a working supervisor
- Ensure that the physical condition of the property satisfies ownership and management objectives
- Oversee Maintenance Supervisors at the properties
- Conduct weekly staff meetings
- Assist Property Managers in controlling maintenance expenses
- Prepare work schedules for maintenance staff and vendors
- Complete monthly building inspections
- Maintain working knowledge of all maintenance programs
- Participate in on-call activity during off hours, emergencies and hands on maintenance activity
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in a regional maintenance position
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years supervisory experience
- Some administrative and organization skills
- Experience with vendor and contract management
- Previous experience with budgets
- Residential maintenance background
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with managers and small teams to support operations.
- Demonstrated organizational, recordkeeping, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
