Senior Manager leading a team of testing consultants for Workday solutions across UKI, DACH, South and Nordics regions. Focusing on validating configurations and ensuring client satisfaction in testing lifecycles.
Responsibilities
This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing and developing a team of specialist testing consultants across the UKI, DACH, South and Nordics regions.
Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and career development to a distributed team of Workday Testing Consultants.
Oversee team performance, ensuring high standards of delivery, billable utilization, and client satisfaction.
Manage resource assignments and project staffing to balance client needs with team skills and development goals.
Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for clients, guiding them through the entire testing lifecycle.
Develop and present sophisticated testing strategies, detailed plans, and risk-based approaches tailored to each client's unique Workday configuration.
Ensure all testing efforts are correctly focused on validating business processes, security configurations, integrations, and reporting.
Hold ultimate accountability for the quality of all testing deliverables, including test scripts, test data, and defect management.
Continuously refine and improve our testing assets, templates, and methodologies to drive efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with the sales team to scope new testing engagements, define project estimations, and contribute to proposals.
Stay current with all Workday updates and industry trends, translating them into actionable insights and service improvements.
Requirements
Significant experience in the ERP testing domain, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex testing projects.
Demonstrable experience in a management or leadership role, successfully managing a team of consultants or analysts.
Be able to demonstrate a critical understanding of the difference between testing tenant configuration and testing core product functionality.
Direct, hands-on experience with Workday (HCM, Financials, or both) is strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
You must be comfortable advising senior-level clients and navigating complex discussions.
Must be based and have the right to work in the UKI, DACH, or Nordics regions.
