Senior Process Engineer providing discipline support in energy sector projects at Wood. Leveraging extensive process engineering knowledge for diverse client needs in Eastern Canada operations.
Responsibilities
Provide discipline support through the application of extensive and comprehensive knowledge of process and chemical engineering design principles and practices
Manage project schedules and client approved budgets
Prepare detailed Cost, Time & Resource estimates based on client supplied work scopes
Ensure design, analysis and specifications are in accordance with applicable codes and best practices
Liaise with third party contractors and vendors for equipment specifications
Operate in a multidiscipline environment to complete large scale projects
Requirements
Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
15+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in utilization of Process Design software including Aspen Hysys and Flaresim
Attention to detail and pride in work quality
Excellent verbal, written communication skills
Strong client focus
Resourceful team player and self-starter
Currently authorized to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
