Group Process Engineer designing and developing process systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. Involved in large-scale CAPEX projects and engineering solutions across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
Design and development of process units and process systems, including basic layout design
Calculation, design, and specification of all required process equipment
Development of the automation level as well as design and calculation of control and automation systems
Coordination with other design engineers (e.g. automation, electrical)
Preparation of calculations, cost estimations, requests for quotation, and comparison of technical and commercial solutions
Assistance in the preparation of project descriptions and documentation for commissioning and qualification (QPL, DQ, IQ, OQ)
Requirements
Completed technical education (FH/University degree in process or chemical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification)
Minimum 3 years of experience in process design and engineering, ideally in a regulated environment (pharma/biotech preferred)
Strong understanding of mathematics, science, physics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) applications for process engineering
Experience in interdisciplinary engineering projects and managing technical interfaces
Structured and analytical working style, with the ability to perform under pressure
Willingness to travel up to 30%
