About the role

  • Handling customer retention and service agreements at WM through effective communication and negotiation. Engaging with customers via phone to prevent cancellations and upsell services.

Responsibilities

  • Become a retention expert
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers
  • Resolve issues and secure updated service level agreements
  • Utilize new technology for outreach process
  • Learn effective negotiation techniques
  • Save, secure, and convert customers wanting to cancel contracts
  • Upsell and close new business when opportunities arise

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 1 year Business-to-business account management, inside sales (phone based sales), and/or customer service experience that includes a sales component
  • Bilingual skillset, with ability to read, speak, and write fluently in Spanish.
