About the role

  • Manage corporate retirement programs including 401(k) and pension plans. Oversee compliance and improve participant satisfaction while coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the administration of corporate retirement programs, including 401(k), pension, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans
  • Oversees day-to-day operations such as eligibility, enrollments, contributions, distributions, loan processing, compliance testing, and regulatory reporting
  • Manages all retirement plan vendors (recordkeeper, trustee, actuary, and auditors)
  • Implements and maintains operational controls to ensure high-quality plan administration
  • Provides expert guidance to HR, payroll, finance, and employees regarding retirement plan provisions
  • Maintains deep technical knowledge of retirement plan regulations and industry developments
  • Ensures accurate maintenance of all retirement-related records and documents
  • Develops and delivers retirement plan communications
  • Oversees personnel needs of the retirement benefits team
  • Supports annual retirement plan audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study
  • Seven to ten years previous HR or Benefits experience experience
  • At least 5 years Retirement plan management and/or administration experience
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study (Preferred)
