About the role

  • Senior Sales Manager focusing on Data & Analytics for Windhoff Group. Engaging with clients and developing sales strategies in Germany's IT consulting sector.

Responsibilities

  • Location: You will primarily interact with our clients by phone and virtually.
  • Therefore you can work flexibly from home for the most part.
  • Ideally you live close to one of our offices or centrally in Germany to have a good starting point in all directions.
  • You bring a network of valuable contacts in the field of Data & Analytics, acquire qualified new clients and expand these relationships.
  • Your focus will be on upper mid-market companies and corporate/enterprise clients.
  • You present our services around SAP, Microsoft and Databricks with an exclusive focus on Data, Analytics & AI: Strategy & Architecture, Data Platforms & Engineering, Data Science & AI, Planning & Forecasting, and Business Analytics.
  • You consistently work on developing your leads, opportunities and sales pipeline.
  • You create tailored proposals and framework agreements and conduct contract negotiations through to closing.
  • By working closely with the Pre-Sales team and the respective Competence Centers, you receive the necessary technical support and a sparring partner.
  • In addition to client meetings, you participate in company-organized and external trade shows and events to expand your network.

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training or a degree.
  • Several years of experience selling consulting services in the IT environment is a must for this role.
  • You have already been involved in Data & Analytics projects and understand how customers benefit from data-driven solutions.
  • You are naturally skilled in new customer acquisition and negotiation and can adapt your strategies successfully to changing market conditions.
  • You are enthusiastic about technical topics and enjoy working in a team, so you will quickly find your feet with us.
  • Through your strong communication skills, reliability and flexibility, you build long-term relationships with new clients for Windhoff.
  • Very good German skills and at least good English skills complete your profile.
